In addition to these hills, the separate geographic features that adorn the landscape of Seattle are the Olympic and the Kitsap peninsulas, the Olympic Mountains, the Cascade Range, and lake Sammamish, which lies to the eastern parts o flake lake Washington. Others of these geographical features are the profligate green forests and the abundant water bodies, which are sources of livelihood and recreation for local and visiting communities (Sanders, 2010).
